Our journey begins with a comprehensive, encrypted medical questionnaire. We require details on your health history, lifestyle factors, and metabolic goals. This data is stored using industry-standard encryption, ensuring your privacy is maintained at all times.

Step 2: Independent Clinical Review

Your submitted data is reviewed by a registered South African medical practitioner. This review is essential to ensure that weight-loss medication is safe for your specific physiology. We screen for contraindications and potential interactions. If the clinician determines treatment is not safe for you, your file will be declined, and you will be notified immediately.

Step 3: Concierge Coordination

If conditionally approved, you aren't left to navigate a website alone. A member of our Concierge Team will contact you via your preferred channel. This is where we align your clinical approval with your lifestyle, explaining the different treatment programs (Essential vs. Premium), pricing, and support structures.

Step 4: Discreet Pharmacy Delivery

We coordinate directly with our partner pharmacies to ensure your medication is prepared and dispatched according to cold-chain requirements. Your package is delivered to your provided address in discreet, unmarked packaging to ensure your privacy.

Medical & Clinical Disclaimers

Clinical Approval: All medications provided via MedX are Prescription Only Medicines (Schedule 4 or higher). Payment for a program covers the costs of clinical consultation and platform support. Completion of an intake form does not guarantee a prescription.

Refund Policy: If a practitioner declines your application during the Clinical Review stage, you are entitled to a full refund of any program fees paid, minus a standard clinical review fee of R150.

Data Privacy: In compliance with POPIA, MedX treats your medical data with the highest level of confidentiality, sharing information only with your assigned doctor and the dispensing pharmacy for the fulfillment of your prescription.

Emergency Procedures: MedX is not an emergency service. If you experience adverse reactions, discontinue the use of your medication immediately and consult your nearest emergency healthcare facility.
